Dr. Gerald L. Sparkes

Dr. Gerald L. Sparkes, MD FRCSC, is a Plastic Surgeon with over 35 years of experience. An Associate Professor of Surgery at Dalhousie University, he has always had a keen interest in teaching. He was awarded the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons' 2006 Mentor of the Year Award for Atlantic Canada. On staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital since its opening in 1982, operating as Chief of Plastic Surgery for 20 plus years, he offers sound clinical experience.

Dr. Andrea Canty

Dr. Canty moved to New Brunswick in 1992 after attending Dalhousie Medical School. During her career, she has practiced as a family doctor in all aspects of care from Obstetrics to Palliative Care. For the past nine years, she has worked exclusively as an Allergist with a special interest in allergic contact dermatitis. After meeting with Joan Mercier, Dr. Canty became intrigued by the benefits of esthetic lasers. After much research and training, she is thrilled to be part of the Rothesay Laser Clinic team offering the SmartXide CO2 laser.

Narges Bagher-Khan

Narges Bagher-Khan worked with Dr. Dowlati, Director of the Dowlati Clinic in Iran. Throughout her career, she has gained vast experience in assisting with hair transplants, and was formally trained by Dr. Dowlati to perform Laser Treatments ten years ago. When Narges moved to Canada, she worked with a specialist in the field of hair transplant. Narges joined Rothesay Laser Clinic in 2008 and has since received advanced training for Laser Hair and Vein Removal. She is also trained in PCA Skin Care Products as a Skin Care Specialist.

Joan Mercier

Joan has been in Hair Removal Business since 1975. She first trained as a Electrologist in Boston at the Eleanor Roberts School of Electrology. In 2001, she became a Certified Laser Technician. Then in 2003, Joan became the first certified PCA Skin Care Specialist within the Saint John area. In the past 8 years, she has received advanced courses in Clinical Skin Care providing every client a personal consultation to ensure that optimal results are achieved.

Michele Breen

Michele Breen joined the team at Rothesay Laser Clinic in 2004. As Office Manager, Michele efficiently manages the reception, client experience and customer service for Rothesay Laser Clinic. Michele is a certified Laser Hair Removal and Vein Removal Technician. She is also trained in PCA Skin Care Products as a Skin Care Specialist.
